2 pr. Shoes (2 par sko)
soap (såpe)
Dear uncle Johan!
I’m now just about to start my walking vacation in Trollheimen. First we’re going by car about 13 Norwegian miles, then we’ll walk across Trollheimen and will come down via Opdal Station. Thank you so very much for the package that came yesterday! And do you know the leather slippers fit both me and father perfectly! I was so pleased when I got them and that they fit me. Both father and I lack slippers so that was nice. A thousand thanks! (Norwegian expression used all the time) We’ve been wearing paper slippers these past years and they only last for 8 days. And thank you for the silk stockings, they were light and pretty and likewise thank you for all the towels! You’ll have to come over uncle, so that I can shake your hand thank you!
Well keep well! Say hello to your wife, Alma and her family!
Best wishes from Herborg.
