Deres Ole

Dear brother.
Once again I have to say thank you for the last package, with Overalls Shirts and Socks, these were very welcome items, all of it very good by the way, and thank you very much for everything you do for us. I’m sending separately a couple of Pictures see if you know them, if you don’t already have them I thought it would be intereting for you, yes the years go by fast and we’ll soon be old. Heard that “sis” Laura had written to Alma, oh well, but don’t believe everything, they are all doing fine, but I’ll say no more, and nothing must be said about me mentioning it displeasure is quickly caused, but both she and her grown up son, ought to work, instead of hanging around people’s houses and doing nothing. All our siblings are fine, but we’re starting to, see a shortage of jobs, and little money, so we are approaching a sad time. I haven’t heard from Mrs Winters for a long time (a 1st cousin of the Holm brothers, but I don’t know exactly how). I wonder if Alma could send me Halvor Øien’s Adrs.? also Hilda Judd. is her daughter Fanny still alive?
I have no news of interest. I so much look forward to hearing from you. I see that sending large packages is allowed now. Are there any used Radioes, and what would one of those cost. My daughters are so fond of a little music now and then, so I promised them I would ask. Hope everything is still fine with all of you. The same with us. Live very well then. Greet Alma and hers. And please write soon.
Your Ole
